Over the past few months I have been capturing in my blog a daily journal of life as a Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA).
I dig into all aspects of life.
Finding something to write about each day is getting easier. It’s become a welcome part of my daily routine. In the beginning, it was stressful. But, over time it is evolving, and is actually now more of an oasis, or respite, from all the other moving parts in life.
My posts have featured other little tweaks that have improved my life. Morning walks, meditation, expressing gratitude, and attention to practice, just to name a few.
And, that is the point. None of this work is big. It’s all little.
That was exactly the point of the conversation over lunch yesterday.
It’s an initiative from the Canadian Men’s Health Foundation and it encourages men to improve their lives.
When I was 210 pounds the road ahead seemed impossible. But, one little change at a time and everything else is falling into place.
